GROUP VOCALS
A group class focusing on vocal terminology & techniques including proper breathing, diction, projection, vowel and consonant pronunciation.
A critical technique that is taught is the art of projection: engaging the diaphragm to produce a larger, more powerful sound. This skill is useful in day-to-day life situations such as public speaking.
Learning to sing is also a mental game. Confidence that is gained through performance and practice will stay with a student for the rest of their lives.

DANCE TECHNIQUE
This is a high-energy class designed for students looking to strengthen and improve their dance abilities. This class focuses on core training, proper alignment, balance, and strength. This class incorporates barre exercises, Thera-band use, and across-the-floor patterns. Students participating in this class will learn how to properly work from both turnout and parallel positions. This class is derived from a ballet foundation while incorporating jazz elements.

TAP
A musicality and rhythm driven dance style. Learn skills through tap technique and combinations. This is a fun and energetic class that will have your feet moving! No previous experience needed for Tap Level 1. We offer a total of 5 levels of Tap.

LYRICAL/CONTEMPORARY
This class is designed for dancers with previous and current training in classical ballet. Warm-up exercises will focus on improving flexibility, extension, core strength, and balance. Center work will include both lyrical and contemporary steps and combinations. Combinations will incorporate the technical elements of ballet with jazz and modern movements. Students will learn how to express a wide range of emotions through their dance based on musical interpretation. Contemporary combinations will consist of abstract movements that combine modern and classical ballet elements. Students will learn how to quickly change tempo and create sharp and clean transitions.

HIP-HOP/JAZZ FUNK
Hip Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements executed. Hip hop dance will require students to have strength and stamina to successfully perform movement. This class includes lower and upper body conditioning. This class is a high-energy street style of dance. Students will work on musicality, phrasing and picking up intricate choreography in a timely manner. Students will learn in difficult movement in a positive and encouraging classroom built with structure and discipline.
Jazz Funk is all about the rhythm. It’s a hybrid of hip-hop and jazz with a lot of flavor thrown in. Jazz Funk incorporates elongated jazz lines blended w/ staccato tight moves to create a high-energy style.

JAZZ
This class is a high energy class that teaches the fundamentals of classic jazz including the development of proper body alignment, coordination, balance and rhythmic awareness. The dancer will learn the correct terminology and technique and build on the fundamentals of musicality and phrasing.

BALLET
This class will cover basic ballet positions, steps and vocabulary with a focus on the student's awareness of proper posture and body alignment. Standing barre work and center floor exercises will be given to enhance coordination, strength, balance and flexibility. Dancers will also develop a sense of musical awareness and movement quality. This class will enhance balance and flexibility.

ACTING
Beginner Level Actig: Fun class introducing students to the art of acting including getting comfortable on stage, theaters games, acting terminology, scene work & breaking down a scene. The goal in this fun class is to use child friendly scene like Harry Potter to build self-awareness, develop their imagination and concentration.
Advanced Level Acting: Students now work with longer scripts, building a character and working towards recognize their emotional truth, actor’s vocabulary, and demonstrate the ability to be honest and committed in their acting. In addition, students learn how to behave as a professional actor as they demonstrate the focus and respect necessary in an acting class, on stage, or on set.

TUMBLING/ACRO
Acrobatics uses strength and flexibility to perform gymnastic-based tricks. In this class, students perform conditioning exercises to prepare them for increased difficulty. It teaches flexibility, balance, strength, and coordination. Our program is safe and effective for all ages and levels. Each class consists of a warm-up, strengthening, balancing, flexibility, and gaining new skills. From cartwheels to back handsprings we can take every dancer to the next level.
