TRACEY ANN BALL
Acting / Comedy:– Published author of “Kids Are So Dramatic” and writing assistant on several shows, debuting her first staged play here at CSS in 2014 “My Big Fat Teen Life”. Tracey is best known as the Creative Director of The Center Stage Studio! As a young adult Actress for Film/TV including credits include “Friends”, “Me, Myself and Irene”, “Days of Our Lives” National commercials; Fila Sport, Gatorade, Nike, as well as a hoard of theatrical plays and musicals in Los Angeles and Boston.
Tracey spent four years in the comedy circuit preferring in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and hosting a web serious called “Gotchya”. Leaving the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, Miss Tracey found her true hearts love opening the Center Stage Studio who has since won “Best Director”, “Best Performing Arts School” “Excellence in Musical Theater” and has seen so many children go on to professional work in TV/Film and Broadway!

Michelle London caught the acting bug when she first appeared in the musical Annie! Since then, she has appeared in over sixty full staged musicals, numerous concerts and special events around the world. In her teens, Michelle attended the Orange County High School of the Arts in the Opera Conservatory and was chosen for the young artists Opera Master Class Series at Opera Pacific. While still in High School, Michelle did musicals at Saddleback Community College, which is where she discovered her love for arts education. Her instructors taught her what Musical Theatre can do for every single person, not just professionals.
Even though she loved Opera, Musical Theatre was truly where her passion resided. Michelle graduated high school early to move to Los Angeles and attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Upon graduation, Michelle worked in various venues including Disneyland, Carnival Cruise Lines, regional theatres, and everything in between. After a year of making a living in Los Angeles, Michelle moved to Chicago to be in the production of WICKED. That production led to almost 5 years, 4 different roles, 3 different companies and 2 countries. While on tour with Wicked, Michelle produced Broadway Cares benefit concerts to help each local city. She also taught thousands of children across the country doing Wicked themed master classes in almost every city.
After tour, Michelle moved to New York and continued to do theatre including regional productions of Legally Blonde in St. Louis and North Carolina. Most recently, Michelle was cast in the revival production of Side Show at the LaJolla Playhouse. This became a perfect opportunity to move back to sunny California and continue her love of teaching.
Established Singer Broadway Performer best known for “American Idol” Finalist! Anthony starred in several Broadway productions including “Rent” , The Fantastics & “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. Anthony grew up starring in the All Boy Band “7th Heaven and is currently a singer song writer best known for his beautifully sung ballads. Anthony wants to give back to the community by making a home here at the Center Stage Studio where he will be teaching night classes this summer! (Pop Vocals, Voice Technique/Advance Auditioning)
Dance Team Director
Gabriella McCarthy founder of the Center Stage Dance Program, has been dancing since the age three. She is trained in ballet, jazz, and lyrical. Along with her passion for dancing, Miss Gabby has also performed in several productions including; Beauty & the Beast, Annie, Johnny Apple Seed, High School Musical, Romeo and Juliet, Oklahoma, and Twilight. She has taken classes in set design and music theory.
Raised in Orange County California she was the first freshman to be asked to join the award winning Varsity Song team of Aliso Niguel High School. She has taught dance for elementary students through the Capistrano Unified School District after- school program. Now studying towards an education degree at Orange Coast College with plans to transfer to Cal State Fullerton. She is currently training in Ballet and Jazz under the direction Professor Jose Costas.

Dougie Styles is the CEO of Internet Company StageBow, Inc (Artist Showcase Network). He has over 20 years of experience in the Entertainment Industry combining art, business and technology through international performing arts workshops, tours, ﬁlms, lectures, live stage productions and now apps.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia. D.Styles began experiencing professional stardom as a teenager while attending Norma’s Academy of Dance; winning numerous national competitions in tap, jazz, modern, contemporary and hip-hop performances. During this time he began choreographing for professional sports teams and actors/recording artists such as the NBA Atlanta Hawks, NCAA Georgia State University, Raven-Symone, Mya, and Tyrese. He also starred in the Off Broadway Musical Sophisticated Ladies and performed internationally with the North Atlanta High School of the Performing Arts Tour Show.
He earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Where he became an assistant professor of dance; teaching course studies in tap and styles of jazz while still ﬁnishing his student tenure. This lead him to write his Energy Connection Theory for Self Elevation and developed the metaphysics’s dance performance study Dachiology (Dance Energy). Which is the exploration of aesthetic concepts in nonverbal communication through rhythm and movement; “Dialogue in Motion. From Long Island University in New York to Dap Performing Arts Center in Switzerland; Dougie has traveled worldwide lecturing and teaching inspiring artist his dance concepts on how to improve the aesthetics of entertainment and its impact on audiences across multiple platforms.
Some of his credits include: Just Dance 3 Video Game, Sensa Products Commercial, Gangster Squad Feature Film, Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial, Born to Dance Reality Show, Spice Girls Reunion World Tour, Koresh Contemporary Dance Company, Twist Off Broadway Musical directed by Debbie Allen, and Opening and Closing Ceremonies on the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
Degrees, Studies and Afﬁliations: BFA, Dance Performance and Promising Artist Scholarship, University of the Arts, Dance Masters of America Certiﬁcation, Joffrey Ballet Scholarship Recipient, International Association of Black Dance and the Philadelphia Arts and Education Partnership.
Kaley began training in dance at the age of 7, in Redlands, CA. She trained in jazz, tap, ballet, and hip-hop. At the age of 12, she discovered that her true passion lied in hip-hop, and she began taking master classes in Los Angeles, from Wade Robson, Jamal Simms, Rosero McCoy, and many more. When she reached the age of 18, she began competing solely in hip-hop, and trained under choreographer Scotty Nguyen. She and her hip-hop team won numerous championships and awards at regional and national competitions. During that time, she began teaching and choreographing hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary at multiple studios throughout Southern California. Her choreography placed many overall awards, in addition to “best choreography” and “best concept,” at various competitions including KAR, Velocity, Hollywood Vibe, and Starbound. At the age of 19, she was represented by DDO Artists Agency in Los Angeles. Her credits include, Bratz Dolls commercial, “Get Fit and Fab with Jillian Michaels” instructional DVD, and “Cashed My Check” D. Willz music video.
Currently, Kaley is pursuing a career in Speech Language Pathology, and works as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant in San Marcos. Dance will always remain her ultimate passion, and she looks forward to sharing her love and knowledge in hip-hop and dance to her students at The Center Stage Dance Studio.
April Malina is a Broadway veteran, singer/songwriter, band front woman as well as recording and voiceover artist. She has worked with the likes of THE ROLLING STONES, THE TEMPTATIONS and ADAM LAMBERT to name a few. She can be heard as the voice of the BARBIE campaign for the past 5 years and has been singing on soundtracks and television scores for the past 15 years. You might recognize her as the voice of Harmony Bear from THE CARE BEARS LIVE, seen her as Ginger in the critically acclaimed movie musical ZOMBIE PROM, or perhaps caught her on tour as Gigi in the award winning Broadway musical MISS SAIGON. One of her favorite gigs to date includes working with Motown Icon Barry Gordy workshopping his musical as AINT NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH which recently opened on Broadway as MOTOWN to rave reviews. In 2006, she had the opportunity to tour Iraq performing for the troops and it was then that she became passionate about being of service to others and helping others realize their dreams. Since then, she has been teaching students how to discover their voice through April Malina’s Vocal Abundance Studio singing all styles ranging from musical theater to pop and even opera. April is extremely excited to be joining the Center Stage Studio team and looks forward to empowering her students to discover their unique voice!

KELSEY LYNN SPRINGSTED
American Coloratura soprano, Kelsey Springsted, is a performer and music educator in Orange County. Kelsey received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance at California Institute of the Arts in 2013 where she participated in multiple opera and musical theater productions including Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges, and Jason Robert Brown’s Songs for a New World. She has also performed and premiered many new vocal works at REDCAT Los Angeles including the role of Sophia in the world premier of composer Alex Vassos’ opera, The House is Open. She performed internationally in the Czech Republic in 2012, where she studied under famed voice teacher Ivana Mikeskova and extended her dance and acting training. In 2014, Kelsey had the tremendous opportunity to work along side of LeVar Burton and the creative team of Reading Rainbow to debut the Reading Rainbow Music Mountain mobile application. As much as Kelsey enjoys performing, she also loves sharing her knowledge and experience with children. Kelsey has a passion for directing children’s musical theater productions and bringing out the best in young performers. She continues to teach private vocal and piano lessons in and around Orange County, and enjoys volunteering for organizations dedicated to assisting children fight cancer. Kelsey is eager to continue her performance career and is excited to help the dreams of young artists come true.
Miss Lexi McCarthy a graduate of the AMDA New York (American Music and Dramatic Academy) has been in over 100 musicals both on the west and east coast. She received her first directing award from the prestigious Musical Theater Comp of America at just 16 years old and has gone on to win several regional and national titles in musical direction and choreography recently winning “Best Production” for “The Little Mermaid” at Access Broadway, KAR Competition and a Choreography award at (JTF) Junior Theater Festival West Cost. Lexi’s passion is everything Musicals and looks forward sharing her talents once again with the kids of CSS as she makes her way to the Hollywood scene.
A native of the Bay Area, Auti Kamal got her start at the young age of three with South Bay Dance Center and Capitol Dance Company. She trained with an emphasis in ballet and contemporary, graduating the Royal Academy of Ballet Performance Awards program, earning a “Gold with Distinction” honor. Throughout her time at Presentation High School, she performed on the prestigious dance team as captain, finishing in the “Top 10” senior soloists her final year at the Contest of Champions Nationals. As a professional choreographer, her work has gained her numerous awards at the regional and national ranking. Auti is most proud of her contemporary routines, “Numb” (2013) and “Wires” (2014) that received the highest overall scores throughout the nationwide competition, adding two National Champion dances to her belt. Miss Kamal enjoys creating concept videos featuring her choreography and has attracted millions of views on YouTube. One of her recent videos was chosen by an established Los Angeles director to be shown in an exhibition for the Detroit Institute of the Arts. Auti had the privilege of graduating from California State University, Long Beach, one of the most sought after dance universities in the country. Prior to receiving her BA in Dance, she had two contemporary ballet pieces chosen by the renowned faculty to be premiered in undergraduate concerts. She is currently teaching technique classes, coaching competitive teams, and choreographing for various studios and schools in California. Auti hopes to break into the entertainment industry and make a career of creating each day. She is thrilled to be at CSS, sharing her passion and knowledge of the art with the young artists.
Chase is so thrilled to be back here coaching at The Center Stage Studio as one of the Nationally ranked Company Coaches! A graduate of The New York Film Academy with a degree in Theatre and Film Performance and currently a student at The Los Angeles Film School with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Entertainment Business, Chase is ready to get to work!
Chase is a recent alumnus of The Orange County School of the Arts where he graduated from the Musical Theatre conservatory. Ever since he was little he knew he wanted to pursue the arts as a profession, and he has! Just in 5th grade, Chase booked his first equity show, Oliver! with the help of The Center Stage Studio, where he was a student. Chase can also be seen in AMC’S The Walking Dead, Divergent series: ALLEGIANT, ABC The People’s List and much others. Chase’s New York Theatre credits include Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Neil Simon Theatre Concert @ 54 Below and other regional theater shows. Currently, he is working part time at Warner Brothers as a creative producer under the mentorship of Andrew Lazar (Producer on American Sniper, 10 Things I Hate About You, etc.) building his way up to one day become an executive producer for Broadway, Television, and Film. Chase is excited to share his talents and experience with his students to get them ready for the “real world” of the entertainment business.
